Collom receives grant-in-aid award
Gresham Collom, assistant professor in the Department of Organizational Leadership, Policy, and Development, was recently awarded a grant-in-aid from the University of Minnesota's Research and Innovation Office (RIO). This award, part of the spring cycle of the Grant-in-Aid of Research, Artistry, and Scholarship program, is one of 24 projects from across the university system receiving a total of approximately $900,000 in funding support.
Collom's project, titled Wekaunmaun Kwáwechtowágan (To Covet Knowledge): A National Inventory of Tribal Postsecondary Education Policies, inventories and analyzes state and higher ed structures designed to support Indigenous students and Tribal nations, offering implications for policy and future research.
