During my undergraduate studies I spent one semester at Universidad Autónoma de Querétaro in Mexico and one at Universidad de la Habana in Cuba, solidifying my interest in continued intercultural learning and working with international populations.I have held international educator roles at four universities across three states, including public and private institutions, and since 2019 have worked at Loyola University Maryland as the institution’s inaugural Director of International Admission. I am a former board member of the Study New Jersey State Consortium, and former Vice President and current President of the Maryland International Education
Consortium where I oversee the executive board and four standing committees: Study Abroad, International Student & Scholar Services, Recruitment, and Events. I frequently volunteer with NAFSA: Association of International Educators in regional and national leadership roles, including Academy Coach and International Enrollment Management Liaison, and have contributed to multiple NAFSA publications, most recently as co-editor of NAFSA’s Guide to International Student Recruitment, 4th Edition. I live in Baltimore with my husband Peter and am in the qualifying exam stage of my doctoral program.
