After a decade of teaching high school English, the moments that transformed my teaching into being more inclusive and equitable were not the professional development sessions. Instead, it was the opportunity to critically collaborate with other staff and students. I am interested in how collaboration in contexts like co-teaching develops more inclusive and equitable classrooms and how leaders can support this teacher development.
