WDRLab Student Challenge 2025 Now OPEN!

WDRLab Student Challenge 2025 Now OPEN!
Workforce Development and Research Lab is now accepting proposals for the WDRLab Student Challenge 2025. The objective of the student challenge is to spark innovative, interdisciplinary programming, scholarship, and research to address complex issues of workforce development while also creating a cadre of ‘change agents’ whose projects, stakeholder engagement, knowledge generation, and dissemination enhance the workforce development opportunities for underrepresented and marginalized groups.

The challenge is open to all CEHD graduate students. Selected proposals will receive monetary prizes to support their research and have the opportunity to become lab fellows, receive support from lab faculty and affiliates, and have their work publicized on departmental and CEHD websites and social media.

The lab is looking for actionable proposals with the potential to impact the real world. Fundable proposals should have the capacity to enable collaborative work with community-based organizations, grassroots organizations, or non-profits at the local, national, or international levels whose purpose is to address workforce development issues. More details on submitting a proposal can be found here and on the WDR Lab website. The deadline for submission is January 15, 2025.
