Biography

My scholarly mission is to research and develop an approach to alleviating discrimination and improving well-being within organizations, which would drive individual, organizational, and social growth. A deep-rooted passion for human resource development has fueled my academic journey. I majored in business administration and human resource development and further honed my skills with a master’s degree in human resource development policy at the Sookmyung Women’s University in Korea. I undertook HRD research projects for various national institutions during my school days. After graduate school, I continued researching vocational programs and projects at research institutes, further solidifying my passion for human resource development. This passion now drives my independent research as a Ph.D. student at the University of Minnesota.

My research interests are employee well-being, engagement, psychological safety, and national and international human resource development. By improving these aspects, I believe we can unlock the workforce’s full potential, driving both business and social growth. Moreover, this focus on well-being and safety can profoundly impact the community, particularly in alleviating the poverty of the underprivileged.
