Dr. Prenkert has been in K-12 education for 28 years. She was a classroom teacher for 12 years at the elementary level. She has taught in a bilingual school in Massachusetts and a looping classroom in Indianapolis and a multiage classroom in Bloomington, IN. In addition to being a teacher, she has worked in administration at both the school and district level: Title I Specialist, Grant Coordinator, Elementary School Principal, Director of Elementary Education, and Assistant Superintendent. Additionally, Dr. Prenkert has taught collegiate level courses at Butler University in Indianapolis, IN and Indiana University in Bloomington, IN.
Dr. Prenkert is excited to continue to work with teachers, principals, and central office administrators in Minnesota. She will help support the work of Dr. Katie Pekel in the Minnesota Instructional Leadership Academy (MILA) and the Minnesota Principals Academy (MPA).
