Biography

I am a doctoral candidate contributing to the expansion of research on social inclusion for people with disabilities. I have experience in disability-focused evaluation, grant writing, event organizing, business plan development, and project development and implementation. I have a passion for raising awareness for people living with disabilities, combined with personal experience as a professional with a visual impairment and I bring a unique perspective to this area of research and to organizations focusing on this group. My dissertation focuses on understanding social integration for college students who are blind and visually impaired.
