Biography

Profile

My program of research examines the process, outcomes, and context of human resource development, training, lifelong learning, and organizational change. This includes issues of strategic planning, human resource development, innovation, and organizational development for organizations in the for-profit, not-for-profit, and the public sector. After 14 years service in academic administration, including department chair (2006-2009, 2009-2013) and associate dean for the College of Education and Human Development (2010-2013, 2014-2018),  I conduct research and present professional development workshops on a range of topics related to academic leadership. My research interests also include examination of adult learning at the intersections of leisure and work with an additional related focus on HRD within the tourism sector. My final area of research is focused on international aspects of vocational education and training/career and technical education.
