Profile

I believe that exploring human resources development in a diversity of organizational contexts enriches the discipline by providing a depth of knowledge and a rich supply of new ideas for the development of people. As a human resources development practitioner in multinational corporations, I was involved in activities for employee development including leadership, talent management, training and development, and organization development. My work experience, which delivered different human resources development practices to employees, shapes my perspective on human resources development, motivates my research interests, and assists in students’ learning. In my teaching, I aim to give students opportunities to formulate questions, to connect what they have learned with their experiences, to create meanings in their own words, and to apply them to their situations.
