OLPD PhD Student receives K. Patricia Cross Future Leaders Award

Tabatha Cruz, a student in the Department of Organizational Leadership, Policy, and Development's (OLPD) Higher Education program received the 2024 K. Patricia Cross Future Leaders Award.

Cruz was selected from a hundred talented graduate student nominees from around the world who demonstrated commitment to academic innovation in the areas of equity, community engagement, and teaching and learning. She is one of nine Cross Award recipients this year—a cohort of graduate students who show exemplary promise as future leaders of higher education.

Cruz will be recognized at the AAC&U Annual Meeting on January 17–19, 2024 in Washington, DC.
