Biography

I am currently working for the University of Minnesota's Institute on Community Integration as a lead curriculum developer of an online training and development product for disability service providers. I am also a co-founder and CEO of Stop Making It Weird, LLC, a training and consulting business focused on disability awareness and inclusion. I have worked in the disability services field for more than three decades, primarily in leadership roles.

My primary research interests include exploring how to facilitate disability inclusion in workplaces and conducting research in ways that center the voices of people with disabilities in this discussion.

Outside of my professional and graduate pursuits, I enjoy sailing (and especially sailboat racing), hiking, and photography.
