Rashné Jehangir gives keynote at first-generation grad student summit
On Friday, April 4, Department of Organizational Leadership, Policy, and Development Professor Rashné Jehangir was invited to be the keynote speaker at the Igniting Excellence: First-Generation Graduate Student Summit hosted by the New York University's Wasserman Center for Career Development. Her talk, titled "Humanizing the Experience of First-Generation Graduate Students," drew from data and recommendations from her book Decoding the Academy: A Roadmap for First-generation College Students Through Graduate Education, co-authored with three CEHD alums, Dr. Kelly Collins, Dr. Tai Do, and Dr. Terra Molengraff.
