Madeline Rowe and Kyle Quagliana, PhD Students in Higher Education at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, were named recipients of an NCAA graduate student research grant for their project examining graduate transfer student-athlete experiences.

Nathan Price, PhD Student in Higher Education at OLPD, was named 2024 Impactful Professional of the Year by Blacks in Industrial-Organizational Psychology.

Fernie Rodriguez, a graduate of the OLPD PhD program in Higher Education, was selected as the University of Wisconsin-Madison's associate vice chancellor for student affairs.

Dr. Lynn D. Akey, OLPD Higher Education PhD Alumni (2012), Vice President for Student Success, Analytics and Integrated Planning at Minnesota State University, Mankato, has been named the 7th Chancellor of the University of Wisconsin–Parkside.
